We create one-of-kind floral designs with an abundant and varied, garden-inspired aesthetic that celebrates each occasion with local and seasonal florals. We are a full-service floral design studio offering everyday flower deliveries, wedding/event designs (smaller orders & full service), memorial flowers, and floral-arranging workshops, all utilizing sustainable practices and mechanics.
Why do we care about Sustainability
There is no reason for the floral industry to use so many chemicals, fossil fuels, and plastics. The flowers are better and more beautiful when we are careful about our sourcing and thoughtful about limiting waste and so is our world.
Usually uses local & seasonal flowers. (70% to 80% of the time)
No flights, local events only. (100% of the time)
Other Sustainable Practices
I wasn't sure how to answer the percentage of local flowers question because I'm not sure how you define local. I use 100% west-coast/B.C. grown, most of which 85%+ is hyper local (within 100 miles).
Imperfectly Sustainable
Humble Bouquet says: "I'm still trying to figure out alternatives to floral glue for wearable florals. With the metal wire/combs and glue, these small parts are usually thrown away."
